I just read about this on gametrailers' FB page, apparently there's a reason Mario didn't make the cut: (They couldn't come up with a way that wouldn't make him seem 'tacked on' or shoehorned in just because.)

This movie was pretty damn awesome!
The story was great, the comedy was great, the cameos were great!
I loved it!

Let's see if I got this right... there'll be a game... based on a movie... based on game characters? Um, correct me if I'm off the mark here, but the *LAST* time something in this vein was attempted was roughly 18 years ago. Anyone care to remember Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game? The track record for this kind of thing isn't overwhlmingly great & doesn't bode well for Wreck-it Ralph IMHO.
