The Pilot to Jungle Gold & an episode of Billy the exterminator called "Snake, Rattle, & Roll" are now free on Zune. Also, if you want some more freebies from Zune (ones that I haven't listed while I was AWOL from VOG), simply look st Zune Marketplace's Top Episodes list. Many of the freebies are on there.

On 11/2/12, the pilot episode of an anime series called "(c) control" (minus the quotes) was released for free on the Zune Marketplace

Oh, I neglected to mention in my last post that there's another freebie on the Zune Marketplace as well: the first episode of Samurai Champloo. I cannot confirm if this also applies to the PSN Video Store and/or iTunes as well,but it never hurts to check.

There's 2 things I'd also like to mention as well:

1) Since reviving this thread after replacing my PC & resuming my use of the Zune Marketplace, I noticed a bunch of other freebies on Zune, but I don't know what order these shows became free or how much longer they'll stay free. There's too may to list here as well. What I can tell you is that the simplest way to find these freebies is to open up the Zune software on your computer, look uder Marketplace ---> Video --- Top episodes. Now, there's a list of the top 100 tv episodes there, & not all of them are free, *BUT* a sizable amount are (last time I checked).

2) Also, if anyone else would like to contribute to this thread (especially if you're specifically an iTunes user & wanna pass along any freebie info about that service, or you see something that I may overlooked about either PSN Video Store or Zune Marketplace).

There's a new free offering that's confirmed for @ least the Zune Marketplace (and with the possibility of it being on PSN & iTunes as well) as of 11/5/12 - Last Man Standing (season 2, episode 1: Voting).

EDIT: After initially posting this, I rechecked the Zune Marketplace & discovered yet another freebie - the pilot to a show called Moonshiners.

[post edited for minor spelling errors]: As of 11/9/12, the pilot to Start-ups: Silicon Valley is confirmed to be free on the Zune Marketplace. I cannot confirm whether or not the same would apply on iTunes or PSN.

Whether or not these items are free on iTunes or PSN as well is unknown. If I get any additional info, I'll note it as an edit to this post & mark the new info with an asterisk.
