It's been mentioned here or there, but as of 20 Nov 2012, here in the US, Playstation Plus is available for the PS Vita. If you're even considering getting one later down the road, and you have Playstation Plus, there's a ton of free games to pick up and have ready and waiting for the future. I picked up Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, and FF Tactics, which combined made up for my annual subscription in a matter of minutes. There's also Wipeout and Jet Set Radio and a couple other things.

FWIW, the other day, they had Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition for free for the PS3. I think it's still available.

Maybe we should have a thread for Playstation Plus updates, to tell people what free stuff is out...?

(Did I just volunteer myself?)

If I wasn't so addicted to WoW I would totally subscribe to Playstation Plus. That's something I never thought I'd say when it was first announced since the reason I have never been interested in Xbox is due to the subscription fee. However the number of quality games a Plus subscription gives the players access to is outstanding.

I managed to download Uncharted: Golden Abyss on my Vita, But I had to delete a couple of demos in order to make room to download it. Its time like these the reason why I will need to get the 32GB memory for it.

Question: if you buy say Peggle PSP will it play on a Vita? The whole inconsistent backwards compatibility of that system is still confusing to me.

To be honest, I don't know. My Vita is sequestered away until about a month from now...sigh...

It should say in the notes on the game on PSN, though.

Nice, thanks for the link, Bobby. I was also just checking a list of remote play games and the PSN version of Peggle plays on the Vita via remote play as well as my Ico & Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection.

I should have grabbed that Black Friday Vita when I had the chance and just put it on a credit card or something. >.<

Anyone here use remote play? It doesn't seem like it works with a lot of games, but it claims to work with all psONE games (CD or PSN download) and games like ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War Collection, Lair (lol), Tokyo Jungle and a bunch of other random disc and PSN games.

Bioshock 2 is an awesome game so that's great that it's free. Plus, Bioshock 1 is an exclusive for buying Bioshock Infinite for PS3. I guess they did that to complete the set for people who plan to buy that game (like me).

Also played the demo for Ni No Kuni and it was fantastic. Finally all the games I wanted in 2012 that got pushed back are going to be here soon!
