Who here owns the game Beat Hazard for the PC? (Or Mac, this probably works with Mac too) If you are a fan of music games and simple shooters like geometry wars, you really should consider it.

Well, some time ago, Beat Hazard added the ability to play the game to Internet Radio stations. And while a few fine indie feeds are included, we thought there were some of you that might want to play Beat Hazard to VOG Network's Radio feed! This does take a small mod to do, but it's perfectly acceptable by the developers to do (instructions are in the file) and all you need is notepad/wordpad

Here's how you do it:

1. Go to your Beat Hazard folder (Mine is C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/beat hazard )

2. Open a file called "radio2.txt" (technically you can use radio.txt as well, but radio2.txt is specifically there for you to edit and add your own stuff)

3. Instructions are right there in the file, but just copy paste the following into the file:

;VOG Network Radio
http://vognetwork.com/listen.pls

4. Save the file and load up Beat Hazard. Go into a single player game, and check the Internet Radio option. Scroll down to the bottom of the list.... WOO HOO, time to play Beat Hazard to the geeklectic mix of music on VOG Network's Radio feed!

Here's proof that I did it, and played a game using it:

It might be fun to have a high score contest at some point, or see who can play in survival the longest during an episode of Under Sedation Live or something.

I'm definitely trying this.

I'm close to getting to Level Elite 500 <_<

Well, I played with for a while and it was a blast.

First I tried Survival mode and lasted around 13 minutes, which is not bad but I'm pretty sure I can do way better than that.

Then I played Normal Mode with Suicide Difficulty. Lasted 5 minutes while doing a 1 hour stream set. The screen was filled with enemies during one of the songs it played.

EDIT:
Here's the pic of my score during OLR's break and beginning of Part "B"
