A very, very, very loose adaptation it seems.

Looks like the only thing that it has in common with the books is that the main battle takes place in Yonkers...But I bet the outcome will be different in the movie.

I was, at first, looking forward to the release of World War Z since I had read the book and liked it; but when I found out that Brad Pitt was going to be the lead, I was like "Oh hell no"; Brad Pitt, in my opinion, is one of the WORST actors of this generation, he has no feeling in what he does and when he tries to be tough, he comes off, to me, as a pansy because there's no emotion behind what he says. Now, if Jason Statham was the lead, I'd be all over that film like white on rice; but nooooooooooo, Hollywood just wants someone that looks good and can sell out movie theaters quickly; gee, why am I not surprised. Anyway, those are my feelings; feel free to leave a reply to this.
