361 - 11/11/12 Bobby Blackwolf Show - Disney Buys Lucasfilm, Blizzard Sued Over Authenticators

  • We are back to having a "normal" show, so Bobby goes back to talking about things he's interested in - like how Smartglass is REALLY laggy with Forza Horizon.
  • Peter Molyneux is back with Curiosity: What's In The Cube? Spoiler alert: NO1CURR.
  • Disney bought Lucasfilm last week - and it's time for us to kill your dreams over anything related to the old Lucasfilm Games properties from the 90's.

Speaking of Bobby Blackwolf's silky smooth voice, I feel like I can't listen to the show in the car any more because I commute with my wife and she mentioned the other day, "he has a sexy voice."

While I totally agree that the lawsuit against Blizzard is frivolous, I didn't like when they took away the ability to use one authenticator for multiple accounts. I have three Battle Net accounts (sad, I know) and when they made that change I had to download one mobile authenticator on my Android phone and another on my work iPod.
I do like that I have never paid for an authenticator. My wife got hers in a goodie bag and I got my physical authenticator from a Blizzard customer service Twitter contest.

As much as I loved the interviews, it was nice to hear the show go back to its usual format.
I too am not a fan of shooters, but I have made more exceptions throughout recent years, my favorites being the Bioshock games. I also never touch multiplayer, so for me to like a shooter it better have a really good single player experience with an awesome story.
Again, great show, can't wait to hear your initial WiiU impressions next week.
