Last of Us 2 leak reminds me of the script leak of the Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker film. Both followed similar events and damage control.

Like Star Wars; don't think the leaks would greatly impact the sales. If sales were not as projected by Sony, I would think it's more due to the virus theme (in relation to our current real life pandemic), and people not able to spend as much on video games (increase in unemployment, less disposable income)

I personally didn't read spoilers on Last of Us Part 2. If similar to the last game, it's story heavy and leaked footage may be taken out of context.

Have to agree, online fighting gaming tournaments is not a good idea.

Netcode for most fighting games are far from perfect. Even if they are; internet connection speed may differ between users. Then there's the fact that hardware/software checks for cheating are hard to regulate
