693 - 01/12/20 Bobby Blackwolf Show - Xbox Series X Exclusives, Arcade1up CES Lineup
- Awesome Games Done Quick has finished, reaching $3.13 million - and I got a donation read on the air!
- Microsoft announced that the Xbox Series X will have no exclusive first party games for the first year or so, which means they will all be playable on Xbox One and Windows 10.
- Arcade1up had a large showing at CES this week, featuring an online enabled NBA Jam as well as digital pinball tables in partnership with Zen Studios.
- Then we take calls about the Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC news, as well as getting myself a real pinball table.

Barely had any use for X1 as the only good console exclusives for me was the Froza series. Played Halo 5 and Gears 5 but mostly the campaign. Also it was mainly a blu-ray player for one of the rooms in the house. Clocked in 1000+ more hours on the PS4. May get more use out of X1 for the next 2 years.
Pros and Cons I see for this strategy:
Pros:
Will not miss out on first party games for 2 years. Planning on getting PS5 and keeping launch X1
Xbox Series X price may lower after 2 years (hopefully they don't release a new one with better specs)
Cons:
Hope the framerate and performance doesn't suffer when playing on my launch X1
Games may be held back on a technical and graphical level since it must work on X1 and Xbox series X
Seems like MS is more focused on software and Gamepass/Project X Cloud than hardware next gen
