Sometimes a game comes along that you don't really expect to get into, but then you try it and you're hooked? That was basically my experience with Ubisoft's Roller Champions in a nutshell!

When Ubisoft first announced it, I was honestly ready to dismiss it. But between the presenter being hyped as heck about his new game, and the reveal that there would be a free playable preview of the game during E3, I decided I would try it out!

Imagine an action sports game that's equal parts roller derby, rugby and basketball or football and you essentially hae the Roller Champions experience!

So when you have the ball you need to complete at least one lap around the track, then you can attempt to score a goal! however if you complete multiple laps, the goal scored will be worth more! up to as much as five points, and since the goal is to get to five, there is definitely a great risk/reward system there.

I only wish there had been some kinda tutorial so I could get the hang of scoring a goal, which I never figured out. But I'm definitely all in for this when it launches, which reportedly will be free to play and offer various customization options for your star player.

The gameplay definitely hooked me and I can't wait to play more! so hopefully I'll see some of the VOG folks in the arena this looks like it'll be a fun experience!
