Regarding the Vita transfer, not sure if you're referring to a system dying and needing to re-download everything, but if you are upgrading to the slim Vita or a new memory card, the transfer is really easy. You connect the USB cord that came with the system into a PS3 or a PC, then create a backup of your Vita data, then swap systems/cards and restore it. Or you can do it over wi-fi like you said, but you don't need to re-download everything over the internet. I did the Vita transfer over USB and the whole thing took around 30 minutes for almost 8GB of data.

Doesn't change the fact that the media is overblowing the 3DS transfer issue, but I just wanted to clarify that the Vita transfer process is pretty simple and gives you multiple ways to do it. I guess the main difference is you have to have access to at least a PC, but that doesn't seem to be an outrageous requirement for a gamer. Of course, I also think everyone should have a Phillips #0 screwdriver because they are so handy with electronics.

Great show this week. Sorry to hear about the PAX issues, but I'm glad you guys are at least able to go and have fun, even if you can't do the awesome interactive coverage.
