When you said that one should wait until there are three solid games available before buying a new-gen console, I was nodding along. That's actually what our policy is this time! My wife and I have three favorite franchises, and when new games come along that are only available on new-gen, that's when we'll make the switch. Until then, we have plenty of last-gen games left on the shelf to enjoy.

I propose early buyers of the Xbox One get 50% off on a game of their choosing.

Press 1 if you're with me, and 2 if you're against (press 1 because that's the right choice).

I didn't get why you were throwing snark when Jack mentioned Sony gamers having a "passion" for gaming. Is there something wrong with that? Or was I missing some sort of hidden sexual innuendo(Playroom)?

You're right, I didn't adequately explain it, which I didn't realize I never explained until I was editing the episode.

In my head, I was equating "passion" with the GamersHateEverything crowd, so yes, he was hearing a lot of passion in the NEGATIVE sense. All the major players do, it's not just Sony. Phil Fish also exited the industry because of the "passion" displayed by gamers. That's what I was alluding to.

I was just doing a bad job of alluding to it.
