  • Most specifically in Forza 5, the "Drivatar" AI system. Spoiler: it's broken and kills the game.

My favorite part of that video is where it tells you "Nice Pass" after you drive past the flipped car.

When I added you on Xbox One, there was no were to input a message like on the 360. So I had to send you a separate message, so you knew who I was. I sent you the message from the Xbox One, but interesting that you saw it on the 360. By the way, using the Xbox One Smartglass app and entering text works pretty damn well.

If there's no storage manager, what if one day I don't want say, the Twitch app on my console anymore. How the heck do I get rid of it then?

I ended up getting a Play and Charge kit along with my console. There is no way to check battery life, or am I missing something?

Microsoft says that storage management is done automatically. If you don't want the Twitch app anymore, don't use it, and it will be one of the first things deleted when you need free space in the future. (Then, if you do want to use it, it will be redownloaded.)

I think this is a scary idea because now it opens the door to Microsoft deciding that you can't have stuff on your console anymore. For instance, Yaris was rightfully pulled from the store and you can't redownload it, but it was still on my console. Now, Microsoft could order my Xbox One to delete Yaris from my console and I wouldn't get to play it anymore.

(Then again, Steam can do the same thing, as we learned a few weeks ago!)

I agree, I don't like the idea of Microsoft controlling that stuff. They should give the user an option in settings, where you can have a choice whether they auto delete apps/games you don't use. I mean, what if I don't play Killer Instinct for a couple of months for whatever reason, Microsoft will remove it. I'll probably have to re-download the patch too (which was 3GB by the way). I know Forza's was even bigger, but what about people on bandwidth caps? Crazy.

The settings on the Xbox One are very dumbed down, I guess for the average user. I dunno, I like my electronics to have every setting under the sun, where I can customise it to my hearts content. But we are a different audience to what they are marketing to.

I remember I deleted Double Dragon II once from my 360's hard drive by mistake. The game wasn't on XBLA anymore, but I could still download it from my download manager. Streets Of Rage 2 on the other hand, when I switched to an Xbox 360 Slim, I couldn't get hold of that anymore because something went wrong with the license transfer I think, or it's the fact Streets Of Rage 2 got replaced with SOR Vintage Collection on XBLA.

I'm hoping all these issues with the Dashboard…I mean Xbox OS get fixed in future OS updates. At the same time, I can't help but feel, man, we'll be waiting for updates for a long time. Then when you get used to the layout of the Xbox One, they'll go and change it on you.

Rest In Peace Xbox 360 NXE update - I miss that Dash.
