Like I said on Twitter, I'm to the point where I'm glad I canceled my PS4 pre-order and decided to wait. I am still more favorable towards the PS4 vs. the XB1, based on the games I tend to enjoy the most and my PS+ perks, but it really sounds as though both systems need a shakedown period with early adopters before they are really ready for prime time.

Never mind that I have a stack of PS3 and 360 games that I have yet to play, and I'm getting just as backlogged on my Vita at this point...

A few suggestions for Ronma. You could buy an empty PS3 case on eBay, then print out the MGS 4 cover art on photo paper. The manual, that could be a bit tricky. I know there are websites out there that you can order game manuals from.

All the above is probably not like the original item, and seems a bit of a hassle, but hey, at least you don't have to deal with GameStop.

For what it's worth, I think the U.S MGS 4 cover art is better than the PAL version.

I was telling my wife about The Stanley Parable and since she doesn't mind having things spoiled, she looked it up for herself. Now she really wants me to play it. She confirms that you can't say much of anything about it without spoiling the game, but it has a Portal-esque feel to it, which is why she think's I'll like it.

As far as the day 1 patch for the PS4, at least they said on their FAQ this week that you can download it via PC to a USB drive and update the console that way. Still no specifics on *when* that would be made available, but if they could offer that before launch day it would save a lot of time.
