As a famouse poem says, "there is no joy in Mudville". But this week's story has nothing to do with baseball. It has to do with a video game development company. Telltale is a shadow of its usual self today. Most of its employees are hitting the internet to look for another job, rather than writing engaging stories about things like TV and movie Intellectual Property. And for most of us, we didn't know anything about their problems. There were no warning signs. Shakespeare told us that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were dead, but we didn't even know they were sick. […] The post Episode 603: Telltale was in trouble, but they weren’t telling that tale appeared first on ESH - ElectricSistaHood.

It is the beginning of THE END…after thirteen years of geekery Glenn, Adam, and Brad start the final series of episodes of PodCulture. After flashbacks in “The Road Thus Far” The guys get all caught up on what all they have been up to since the last recording. The first of TWO Geek Cuisines is sponsored by Studio V as Adam brings in Goji Berries. Christina is prob glad she missed this version of “Phantom” as Glenn inflicts Phantom of the Paradise on the crew as the final Guilty Pleasure. The second Geek Cuisine is an Oreo double feature with Fireworks (pop rocks) and Cherry Cola flavored variants. Bumpers are from the gorram shiny crew of Serenity as Alan Tudyk and the late great Ron Glass chime in. The music is Browncoat themed as well with Firefly by Adam WarRock & Mikal kHill and Mal’s Song by Vixy and Tony.

Ten Dragon Quest games have come and gone, but it took the eleventh one to finally attract Pandalicious. That's right, she avoided the first ten of the games, thinking they were just a Poor Man's Final Fantasy, but she has learned her lesson. She's already 50 hours into Dragon Quest 11 and figures she's not even a third of the way through. We admire the effort. Panda's already deeply involved in Octopath Traveler, and there are quite a number of enticing games soon to come that will test her fortitude in finishing the 11th chapter of the long-running Dragon Quest. […] The post ESH Cast #602: Panda could say no, but what’s the fun of that? appeared first on ESH - ElectricSistaHood.
