Next Year, total online support will be ending for the Nintendo WiiU and the 3DS. Although the eShop support was previously pulled for these systems, this is still a major event that has some game preservationists sad. At least one title will still keep the lights on, since this iconic franchise would suffer a bit of a setback if they didn't. Pour one out for those still playing their 3DS's as the lights go out in 2024.... but could a new Nintendo system be out by that time to help us forget? We talk about all this, our gaming weeks, and much more in the news on another week of the longest running video game podcast: Orange Lounge Radio!

A game near and dear to us turned 25 years old this past week, and we take time at the top of our show to reflect on our memories of what Dance Dance Revolution has meant to us over the years. Without it, we wouldn't have this show, and we're excited that the game has had a recent "2nd Mix" life to allow new generations to play it and bond over it. It's not just Memories (get it?) though, as we dive into the weeks news, including a major hack at Sony. Could this be something similar to what Sony experienced in the Playstation 3 era, or is the data that's been breached not that big of a deal all things considered? We discuss all this and much much more on another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

Just when you thought the news couldn't break any harder than it did last week, an avalanche of unredacted Microsoft documents was unleashed onto the gaming public by an oops of epic proportions. We get to see e-mails, concepts for yet to be released consoles, and so much more. We talk about some of the unredacted secrets, but also take a moment to call out some of those in the industry using this to create more clicks for their websites unnecessarily. It's all just another week in the gaming world, and we break it down on another episode of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

What a busy week in gaming news? Who could have possibly predicted that Unity would indeed unify the whole industry against them by making a switcheroo change to their pricing. With some oddly timed sales of stock, could this go so far as to land a major CEO in hot water legally? Well if there's any justice in this world there might be... is what one host of Orange Lounge Raido says multiple times! All this AND two big "direct" presentations from Nintendo and Sony in the same day. Phew, what a week! Tune in to hear the wrapups on all this and much more on another week of a podcast that's been running so long it's older than Steam, Orange Lounge Radio!

After a convention filled Labor Day Weekend, we return to missed news, including confirmation that Final Fantasy XVI will be headed to PC (was there ever really any doubt?) and have 2 DLC releases in the coming months. Not just this, but a new Nintendo Direct showed off some detail on Super Mario Wonder. And also while we were out, a long running gaming studio closed with their last game releasing on Playstation Plus within the same breath. Phew, it's been an action packed week, and we cover all the news on another episode of the longest running video game podcast- Orange Lounge Radio!

GamesCom happened this week, and we have much news to wrap up from that event. Earlier this week, however, Nintendo shocked many fans by announcing that Charles Martinet would no longer be providing the voice of Mario in their games, although he would be given a special ambassador role. We talk about why Nintendo might have wanted to make this change, and why they held off on naming the replacement. No, it's not going to be Clive, LOL. All this and much more news make up another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

It was announced this week that after 18 years, the Xbox 360 Online store will be closing. Does this officially make the Xbox 360 consoles a brick now? Not at all really, as it turns out. We talk about what Microsoft is closing access to, but also the surprising amount of ways content will still be available as we kick off tonight's show. We also check in with our co-hosts, as Jamie brings back a wrapup from California Extreme, and LOKI announces his team was selected to participate in the Minecraft Championship Rising competition coming up this weekend! What an exciting week for all of us here at the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

We return live tonight after an unexpected two week break (sorry about that!) to tackle the latest in gaming news. A fan of Wipeout has taken the source code that leaked from the game and turned it into a full version of the game playable in a web browser, daring Sony to take it down but continue the series. Perhaps Sony isn't as litigious as Nintendo, but do we think this game will be much longer for the web? We talk about this and much more on another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

A patch went out for Diablo 4 this week to prepare for the games first season. However, the patch was not well received by fans, causing Blizzard to issue a variety of statements on the why they did the patch as well as future patch approaches. Did the internet make this a much bigger deal than it should have been though? We discuss the fallout from this patch and opinions on the game's direction, which takes a larger chat on the general increase of season play and battlepasses in many of our favorite video games. All this, our gaming weeks, and more, make up another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

It appears that Activision and Microsoft may be set to finally merge after months of anticipation, with a major ruling against the FTC this week set to clear the way... in America, anyway. We discuss the latest updates and what we might see in a week's time as a result of the potential merger. All this and much more news, as well as our gaming weeks, round out another episode of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!
