Ichabod and Abbie hatch a desperate plan to rescue Katrina from the Headless Horseman that involves a Frankenstein-type monster created by Benjamin Franklin. Meanwhile, Frank's revelation about his encounter with a demon gets him in more trouble; and Jenny clashes with the new sheriff.
A child-trafficking ring is investigated, and one of the victims is Selina Kyle. Elsewhere, Penguin blazes a bloody trail back to Gotham.In the Season 2 premiere, Ichabod is buried alive in a coffin; Abbie's in danger of spending an eternity in purgatory; Katrina is a reluctant guest of the Headless Horseman; Capt. Irving is in jail on a murder charge; and Jenny is in a car accident.
Season 6 begins with Alicia refusing to run for State's Attorney despite Eli's attempts to persuade her to launch a campaign. Meanwhile, Diane considers joining Florrick/Agos as a partner, but an internal crisis threatens to destroy the firm. 
Freed from the massive expectations of the majority of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (at least the Earth-bound one with the Avengers group poised to dominate the box office next summer), Guardians of the Galaxy becomes its own odd entity. That freedom gives it license to be whatever it wants. Thus, somehow, improbably, it proves that weirder does also mean fun.
Season 2 ends with Sarah being forced to concede when Rachel launches her latest ploy. However, the Clone Club springs into action to save her. Later, Sarah meets a new ally and uncovers a terrifying new dimension to the conspiracy. Cosima takes a turn for the worse, which forces Sarah to take desperate measures that result in tragic consequences for those she loves. Meanwhile, the Proletheans set their ultimate plan in motion; and Alison and Donnie tangle with the law.
