"webirc" is good for certain 4G data plans that block IRC traffic, as it uses the same port websites use and therefore can't be blocked. Not all 4G providers block IRC, and if they don't, using the straight "irc" is a better choice. You can also use irc.us.gamesurge.net to force a US-based server, or irc.eu.gamesurge.net to force a European-based server. |
