I'm not gonna miss this movie for anything. I loved, loved, loved the book, and if the trailers are anything to go by, the movie is gonna be similarly awesome. So has anyone else read the book? How do you think the movie (will) compare(s) to the book? |

After seeing the movie and having read the book I would say that they are reasonably close, but as with any movie based on a book their are details that were left out, some of which I feel should not have been left out but that is only a minor gripe. |

So I'm curious about more detail of what those who read the book though of this movie. I haven't read the book, but found the movie very enjoyable. It's not Oscar worthy or anything, but it was a lot of fun to watch. |

I've read the book and seen the movie and I think it was a fair translation, but they changed some parts that I thought were important to the build up of the climax. They also removed some of the interesting back story, which was kinda disappointing. All and all its no oscar candidate, but its an ok popcorn thriller. |
