On a recent episode of OLR that I called into, Skie had recommended to me that I check out gog.com. It seems like a good site w/ cheap games & I plan to buy a few when I can. Now, I have a follow-up question for the VOG community - what legitimately free, non-pirated, fully legal games can you guys recommend? I already discovered that Rockstar's giving away GTA 1 & 2 on their site & Microsoft is giving away something called Microsoft Flight (which I'm assuming is a flight simulator). I could use some good games to play, preferably free seeing as I'm on a budget, but I'm unwilling to pirate stuff if only due to moral reasons. |

Yeah, GOG.com is good for old and new games. They have deals every day, especially big ones on the weekends. Steam of course is a really good source for cheap games (Steam sales). Right now they're giving out Faerie Solitaire for free! There's also Green Man Gaming and Amazon too. |
