To celebrate Dreamcast day, I'll be airing my EXCLUSIVE interview from Dragon*con with Gearbox Software! Jonathan Hemingway and Randy Varnell are the designer and producer (respectively) working on Borderlands 2, which is coming out in just a few short weeks. We talk about Borderlands 1 and 2, and what we can expect on the 18th. But we also spend 10 minutes (of the 30 minute) interview talking about this little story. You may recognize that name from the previous paragraph. AS FAR AS WE CAN TELL, this is the FIRST interview with Jonathan Hemingway SINCE the Eurogamer article came out. That means that this is the FIRST time Jonathan's been able to speak about the controversy, how he reacted to it, and how it has affected him personally and professionally. And yes, Gearbox Software knew about the interview before we recorded it, and approved it. If you only listen to one episode of The Bobby Blackwolf Show ever...This would be the one. We'll air it live Sunday at 8PM ET/5PM PT, and the podcast will be up before OLR is over. |
