Great Question
Saints Row IV: Certain open world games that were once cartoony and didn't take themselves seriously have recently taken the realistic approach. Therefore, these games are "growing up." Does Deep Silver see the Saint Row series turning towards this approach as well and become more realistic, or will it maintain the "Never Never Land" mentality of letting the player's imagination run wild in a crazy world?

They are definitely staying with the never never land mentality.

Great Question
Saints Row IV: Are we able to port over our SR3 characters to SRIV? Are all superpowers available at the start of the game (w/ increase in intensity via upgrades) or do we acquire new abilities it as we play through the campaign

Yes. They are even bringing over some fan favorite outfits that will also carry over.

Good Question
Deep Silver, Can you give us some details on the PC modding SDK that Volition is partnering with IdolNinja (the folks behind the popular Gentlemen Of The Row mod package) for Saints Row IV. It sounds incredibly exciting. Also, now that we have Keith David as Keith David in Saints Row IV, can we get Daniel Dae Kim as Daniel Dae Kim as well?

No information about modding tools yet, or about Daniel Dae Kim. He liked the question, though.

Good Question
To put it delicately, is there an equivalent of a giant purple dilldo bat in Saints Row IV? The freerunning, wall climbing, and flying mechanics I saw in the video presentation done on Spike TV reminds me of similar mechanics utilized in Prototype. Are these mechanics in use throughout the entire game or just one section?

The open world is virtual and is the place you have the superpowers that you unlock as the game progresses. There isn't something as in your face as the dildo bat.

Waiting For Answer
Deep Silver scored a major coup with Saint's Row and Metro and are continuing to experience further success with their Dead Island series. Does Deep Silver see itself involving more of its resources into open world games like these? Could we expect an open world Metro a few years from now? Will we see another Risen?

E3 2013 is over. See you next time!
