I'm one of the many people out there who enjoyed Prometheus for what it was, Its not an Alien Prequel, I see it more as a Spinoff, But set in the same universe. Fox has already geeenlit the sequel with Noomi Repace and Michael Fassbender already signed to reprise there roles.

Agreed. So glad they decided to go with a non-standard prequel. What fun is it making a movie where you already know what's going to happen like in The Thing or Star Wars prequels?

Yeah, Its nice to see them try something different instead of following the same formula.

Finally downloaded this podcast as well. Can't wait to hear their thoughts on Spider-Man and Prometheus. I still haven't seen Cabin in the Woods so I'll have to finish this one later.

Listened on the drive home today, minus the Cabin in the Woods portion since I haven't seen that yet. Glad to hear that you guys really appreciated Amazing Spider-Man. Seems like so many of my friends were put off by the film (having seen it or not) just because the Raimi trilogy is so recent. Nice to see you review the film on its own merits. It really does a great job adapting those comics.
