Do you plan on doing any reviews? Maybe Gary could do it since its his favorite show currently on right now.
About this episode on the timeline and the ramifications we learned from this episode.
-Liber8 now know there are 2 Alec's and 2 Kiera's or were 2 Kiera's. which also leads to them realizing that they don't control the agenda anymore. Lucas' reaction that the you can't catch the roadrunner is apt.
-When Alec and Kiera jumped into this current timeline, their old timeline was destroyed. Continuum upended the rules that we presumed to know when they used the tree analogy and the branching out of the timeline. Now we know through the revelations that the timeline can be replaced with another one. The current one that has Brad (John Doe) in it since this is his timeline.
-Kiera'a eyes are now open, she is awake, we guessed it previously in the previous episodes, but the last part was impressive in that instead of going to the cliché, shoot out scene that Continuum could of easily fallen for, they went off script and did a talking episode and it just fit perfectly. It was perfect in that the viewer got to experience the revelations first hand like the characters on the show did. It was stunning and we experienced a profound awakening as we got some crucial answers and more questions as well.
-Continuum is a show that unlike so many serials isn't afraid to take risks with their concept. They aren't afraid to close off their plot lines and give them conclusions and then move on from that to create more branching story arcs that expand on the mythology. Too many shows are afraid to do this because they are afraid to lose the mystic of the show and the mystery. Continuum is not afraid to reveal answers and they give the viewers a payoff which I love. Every season, they build on the plot and at the end, they give us a conclusion. But then they continue to push the story further and add new plotlines. Wonderful evolving story that the creators have created.
